If you do not have access to your domain names control panel then you need to contact your current provider and ask them to change your .uk domain names:
Transfer rules vary from one registrar to the next, contact your provider either by telephone or email and ask them how to change your domains IPS Tag. They will either change it for you or provide access to your domains online control panel with instructions allowing you to do it yourself. In all cases you will have to prove you are a domains legal registrant before a registrar will release a domain. This is normally done by sending a request using the registered email address associated with your domains account, a company fax or sometimes a telephone call is enough depending on the level of your relationship with your supplier.
The moment your domains IPS Tag is changed by the current administration contact to SUPERWEB (all capital letters) we will be informed automatically directly from Nominet the .uk registry. In the event your current registrar does not respond to your transfer requests there's a good chance we can cut them out of the loop all together, it is advised though that this is a last resort after all communication has failed.
48 hour IPS Tag Changes, if your current registrar will not release your domain name for whatever reason you can take action. It is essential though that you are detailed on the domain name whois as the current registered owner, as long as this is the case all is not lost. For £10 + VAT your domain can be moved removing your problem registrar forever. Complete the Forgotten Password process on the Nominet website. This will allow you to access Nominet's Online Service, you will be sent an an email, which will enable you to reset your password and gain access. At this point you will be able to move your domain.
You have done this but receive no email from Nominet? If you do not know the email address associated with your account we can still help. If you can contact your current registrar they will be able to update your email address allowing you to access the online service.
Failing this it is now time to re-establish your identity. To use this service you will need to pay an administrative fee of £12.00 including VAT. Please note this fee is non-refundable.
However, if you are listed as a contact and have set up the security questions on your account and can answer them correctly, the administrative fee does not apply.
You pay this fee online directly on the Nominet website, that's it!

What does IPS Tag stand for
IPS stands for “Internet Provider Security” (Tag). An IPS Tag is a case sensitive label that applies to each ISP and is required to transfer a domain name from one ISP to another. All ISP’s are provided with a Tag when applying to become an ISP.
