Setting Up Your Email using Outlook Express

This tutorial is a step-by-step guide showing you how to setup Microsoft Outlook Express to work with your e-mail account at UK Superweb. We focus here on setting up Outlook Express version 5, but these settings are similar in other versions as well. You can setup previous versions of Outlook Express by using the settings provided in this tutorial.

To Set Up Your Email Account in Outlook Express

Open Outlook Express and Select the Tools Menu. From the drop down click the Accounts Setting Tab

On the right hand side, click Add and then Mail.

When you send email, your name will appear in the From field of the outgoing message
Type your name as you would like it to appear. Click Next.

Enter your email address, this is the address other people use to send messages to you. Click Next.

Setup email servers, select incoming server type POP3

Incoming mail server (POP3) mail.uksuperweb.co.uk
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) smtp.uksuperweb.co.uk (or ask your broadband provider to supply you with your outgoing SMTP address)

Enter your email username and password.

Leave the checkbox Log on using Secure Password Authentication clear, Click Next.

Click Finish to Start Using Outlook Express.

Congratulation Outlook Express is now Setup
