This tutorial is a step-by-step guide showing you how to setup Mozilla Thunderbird to work with your e-mail account at UK Superweb. We focus here on setting up Mozilla Thunderbird version 2.0.0.19, but these settings are similar in other versions of Thunderbirdas well. You can setup previous versions of Mozilla Thunderbird by using the settings provided in this tutorial.
| To Set Up Your Email Account in Mozilla Thunderbird

- Open Thunderbird and Select the Tools Menu. Click the Account Settings Tab

- On the Email Accounts wizard window, select 'Add a new e-mail account' and then Click Next.

- Enter your name the same as you would like it to appear in the From: field of all out-going mail and the email address other users will use to reply/send messages to you. Click Next.

- Select POP as the type of incoming server you are using. Your incoming mail server address is mail.uksuperweb.co.uk - Click Next.

- Enter your Username for the Incoming User Name, and Outgoing User Name. Note Username format email alias@username - e.g. john@mydomain (drop the suffix) Click Next.

- Enter a name for your email account and Click Next.

- Verify your account information and Click Finish.
