How to Transfer your .com, .net or .org or other TLD Domain Name to UK Superweb
This page details in full exactly what needs to be done to transfer your Top Level Domain name to UK Superweb. In a moment we will cover each domain name suffix individually although for many TLD domains the procedure is the same. We will also cover each of the global registrar’s domain name release procedures as they vary from registrar to registrar.
The first point about TLD domain name transfers you need to know is that we start .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domain name transfer for you, secondly which is just as important we cannot start a transfer for you until your provide us with your domains unique EPP key which you get from your current registrar. Registrars generally email a domain names authorisation code after it is requested using their online system, all being well you have access to your domain name(s) control panel and can follow your registrars release procedure and get your key. A domains unique EPP is emailed to the address associated with your account and normally arrives within a few minutes to a few hours.
Once a transfer is started it usually takes between 2-5 days to complete, in some cases this duration can be shorter or longer depending on how quickly your current registrar responds once a transfer request has been submitted.
When asking your registrar for your domain names EPP key you must also ask them to unlock your domain ready for transfer, if possible you should also enquire which email address they associate with your account for final verification purposes. If you have access to your domain name(s) control panel then you will be able to find all of the informration you need using the online service. For any TLD domain name transfer to be successful the current registrar/admin contact must accept the final verification transfer email on your behalf after UK Superweb has initiated a transfer. It is essential that a transfer verification email is accepted within 5 days otherwise the request will be cancelled.
Inbound TLD domain name transfers to UK Superweb cost £15 + VAT each. If a transfer is unsuccessful for any reason the fee is still applicable.
Free Outbound Domain Name Transfer
UK Superweb is a corporate member of Bulk Register the global domain name registry. There is just one situation possible when the procedures we detail here do not apply, that is: if you perform a search on our domain name whois and your TLD domain is currently with our registrar:
Registrar: ENOM, INC.
Whois Server: whois.enom.com
Referral URL: http://www.enom.com
In this one circumstance you can ask your current registrar to simply ‘push’ your domain name to us by providing them with our handle: TC5929-BR, the transfer fee is reduced by £5 for pushing your domain between our registrars system.

- Please submit your transfer requests well in advance of the expiration date. We are not responsible for domains that expire prior to a successful transfer. You do not lose any time, nor pay for overlapping months; a transfer adds a full year to the current expiration date.
- For .EU domains the current registrant contact email address will receive email from the .EU registry (EURid) which needs to be approved within 7 days of the transfer order. The new expiration date of the domain will be 1 year from the completion date of the transfer.
