Transfer domain names from Moniker to UK Superweb

This page takes you step by step through the procedure for transferring a domain away from Moniker and into an account at UK Superweb.

The transfer process involves the tasks that are described below. Following the transfer tasks, we provide information about tracking the progress of the transfer, and ICANN rules regarding rejections.

To make sure your domain name can be transferred, check the following:

• The domain name has been registered for at least 60 days, and has been at Moniker for at least 60 days.
• The domain name is not in "client update prohibited" status.

To update these contacts at Moniker:

1. Log on to your account at moniker.com.
2. In the "Manage Domains" menu at lower left, click "View Domains".
3. In the list of domains, select the check box next to the domain you want to transfer.
4. Click the "Contacts" tab.
5. Click the "Batch Tool" link.
6. Confirm that the Registrant and Administrative contact information are accurate.
7. If you make any changes, click "Save".

Some TLDs require that you provide an authorisation code for your domain name, to provide an extra level of assurance that the transfer request comes from an authorised source.

1. Log on to your account at moniker.com.
2. In the "Manage Domains" menu at lower left, click "View Domains".
3. Select the check box next to the domain you want to transfer.
4. Click the "Transfer-Out" tab.
5. On the "Reason For Transferring Out" dropdown menu, select a reason for transferring.
6. In the "Suggestions" text box, type any suggestions or feedback regarding your transfer.
7. Select the "I Have Read and Understand Monider's Transfer Out Policy" check box.
8. Click "Save". This unlocks the domain and emails the authorisation key to the Registrant. You must supply this key when you submit the transfer request at UK Superweb.

• Contact Moniker and ask them to retag the domain name to ISP tag UK Superweb.
• Alternatively, you can retag/detag directly through Nominet, for a fee.
• When you transfer a .uk domain name, use the Auto verification transfer method.
• You can submit the transfer requests to UK Superweb and Moniker in any order.
• If you submit the transfer request to UK Superweb first, you must submit the request to Moniker within a week.
• If you submit the transfer request to Moniker first, you must submit the request to UK Superweb by the next 8th day of the calendar month.

Transfers of TLDs other than those named above do not require any codes or tags.
